๐ฏ QA/QC Manager – Key Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Valid IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Proven experience managing QA/QC teams.
- Experience implementing and monitoring Project Quality Plans.
- Strong knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Good understanding of Method Statements and quality control procedures.
- Experience with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and MIRs (Material Inspection Requests).
- Strong knowledge of construction inspections and quality requirements.
๐️ Main QA/QC Responsibilities
The selected QA/QC Manager will be expected to manage and monitor quality activities within construction projects, ensuring that quality requirements and established procedures are properly implemented.
Key areas include:
- Managing QA/QC teams and coordinating quality activities.
- Implementing Project Quality Plans.
- Monitoring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Reviewing and following up on ITPs and Method Statements.
- Managing NCRs and MIRs.
- Coordinating inspections and quality control activities.
- Ensuring that construction works comply with approved quality requirements and procedures.
