🏗️ About the Role
The Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities across five permanent accommodation camps supporting a major LNG facility.
The successful candidate will manage maintenance contractors, monitor service performance, ensure asset reliability and coordinate the maintenance of essential building services and camp facilities.
The role requires strong technical knowledge combined with proven experience in facilities management, contractor management, maintenance operations and remote accommodation camps.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Managing maintenance operations across 5 permanent camps.
- Leading and controlling maintenance contractors in accordance with SLA and KPI requirements.
- Monitoring preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance activities.
- Conducting daily inspections and quality spot checks.
- Overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and water systems.
- Managing diesel/gas generators and solar PV systems.
- Overseeing kitchen, canteen, recreational and building facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with PTW, LOTO, Working at Height and Confined Space requirements.
- Monitoring contractor performance, non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Preparing daily and weekly maintenance reports.
- Supporting audits and maintenance reviews.
- Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and asset reliability.
👷 Candidate Requirements
Candidates should have:
- 15+ years of experience in Facilities, Building Services or Maintenance.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Maintenance Superintendent or Senior Supervisor.
- Strong experience managing multiple remote accommodation camps.
- Experience working with large camps supporting several thousand occupants.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Experience with generators, fire & life safety systems and building services.
- Experience with commercial kitchens, canteens and recreational facilities.
- Proven experience managing contractors from the client side under SLAs and KPIs.
- Experience with Maximo, SAP PM, Infor, Fix or an equivalent CMMS.
