A leading organization is looking for an experienced Technical Manager – Systems to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE 🇦🇪.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional with strong expertise in enterprise systems, IT infrastructure, virtualization and hybrid cloud environments.
📌 Job Details
- Position: Technical Manager – Systems
- Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE 🇦🇪
- Work Model: Onsite
- Contract: 12 Months – Extendable
- Joining: Immediately or within 30 days
- Important: Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
🎓 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience managing enterprise systems and infrastructure environments.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux/Unix and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with hybrid cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with storage, backup, disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in infrastructure strategy, project delivery and vendor management.
⭐ Preferred Skills
Experience with the following technologies will be an advantage:
- VMware
- Hyper-V
- Nutanix
- Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- Enterprise Storage – SAN/NAS
- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- IT Infrastructure Operations
- Capacity Planning
- Performance Optimization
💼 Key Responsibilities
The Technical Manager will be responsible for managing enterprise systems and infrastructure operations, including:
- Leading and managing technical infrastructure teams.
- Supporting infrastructure strategy and technology planning.
- Overseeing infrastructure projects and delivery.
- Managing storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensuring system availability and business continuity.
- Monitoring and optimizing infrastructure performance.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and technology vendors.
- Supporting capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Ensuring reliable and efficient IT infrastructure operations.
