A major Riyadh Metro Project – Line 2 Extension is currently seeking an experienced Draftsman to join the project team.
📌 Position: Draftsman
📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
🏗️ Project: Riyadh Metro – Line 2 Extension
💼 Experience: 7–10 years
⚡ Availability: Immediately available candidates preferred
🎯 Qualification & Experience
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- 🎓 Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology or a related field.
- 💻 Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for survey and civil drawings.
- 📜 Certified training in AutoCAD or other drafting software is preferred.
- 👷 7–10 years of relevant experience.
- 🚇 Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Metro, Railway, Tunnel, Shaft, Underground Station or major infrastructure projects is preferred.
📐 Technical Skills
The successful candidate should have experience in:
- Survey data processing.
- Coordinates, levels, chainages, offsets and setting-out data.
- As-built drawings.
- Topographic drawings.
- Alignment and profile drawings.
- Cross-section and contour drawings.
- Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors and point data.
- Checking drawings against approved designs and identifying discrepancies.
- Using Excel for coordinate calculations and survey data preparation.
🤝 Key Responsibilities & Competencies
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with approved drawing standards.
- Prepare and update civil and survey drawings.
- Coordinate effectively with Survey, Design, Construction and QA/QC teams.
- Work closely with survey teams on site.
- Support survey and civil works coordination within a large-scale infrastructure project.
- Deliver drawings accurately and within required deadlines.
- Identify and report drawing discrepancies.
📋 Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
✅ Strong attention to detail
✅ Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD & Civil 3D
✅ Hands-on experience with survey teams
✅ Strong understanding of civil and survey coordination
✅ Experience in major infrastructure projects
✅ Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
